She was a retired job recruiter and was of the Church of Christ faith. Sandy was a very outgoing person who loved her family and friends. She was an avid Razorback fan and sports fanatic. Her hobbies included caring for her cats, visiting with people, doing volunteer work and home decorating.
Survivors include two brothers, Kevin Stewart and wife Debbie of Ben Brook, TX and Vernon Stanley Bland and wife Jill Ashworth of Springtown, TX; three nieces, Sharon Stoll, Bianca Bland and Heidi Bland; and one nephew, Jonathan Stewart.
Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.

As life goes..we get busy with “work” or whatever else isn’t as important as the people we cross paths with in life and some we cross paths with leave an indelible impression on you and Sandy was that for me and many I know!! I was a 17 year old student at UAM from Connecticut of all places and needed a part time job and I landed one at the Town&Country store owned by the Dearman family..Day 1 I met Sandy and day 2 we were inseparable.
