He was a retired truck driver and a member of New Life Assembly of God Church. Tommy enjoyed hunting and the outdoors, enjoyed being around his grandchildren and was a lover of his dogs, Bear and RoRo. He was a Christian and loved his church family at New Life.
Survivors include one daughter, Samantha Kelley and husband Pete of Monticello; and three grandchildren, Hannah Nixon, Andrew Nixon and William Beer, as well as a host of friends and family in Louisiana.
