She was the widow of Hugh Smith, a retired accountant and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her father and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Ann Davis Willingham.
Survivors include one son, Davis Smith of Dermott; one daughter, Anna Smith Jones and husband Rick of Monticello; three grandsons, Alan Davis Jones and wife Nadia of Stillwater, OK, Christopher Aaron Jones and wife Sarah and Davis Hugh Smith, II both of Dermott; one great-grandson, Sterling Jones; her mother, Dorothy Brewster Davis of Monticello; her sister, Sue Davis Britton of Dermott; one nephew, Jason Britton and wife Elizabeth of Warren; one niece, Amy Britton Smith and husband Brent of Monticello; one great-nephew, Levi; and one great-niece, Laken.
Family graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2020, in Union Cemetery at Rye. There will be a come and go visitation, Thursday, May 14, 2020, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Please follow the COVID-19 protocol with no more than 10 people in the chapel at a time and please practice social distancing.
