Sema'J was a member of Holmes Chapel Church where he sang in the choir. He attended school at Monticello Middle School and Bryant High School. He was an employee of Hardy's in Benton, AR. There to guide him and be a positive influence in his life was Shiloh Gober and Ryan Williams. Sema'J was always the life of the party making sure everyone laughed and had a good time.
He is survived by his mother, Nayrada Marshall of Benton, AR; his father, Eric Brown of Monticello; paternal grandmother, Delores Brown of Carlsbad, NM; three brothers, Saniyaas Brown of Little Rock, Damion Collins of Benton, and Eric Brown of Little Rock; one sister, E'lisia Brown of Monticello, AR; best friend Antwain Boddie, Jr. of Alexander; three uncles, Harrison Marshall, Jr. (Sharell) of North Little Rock, Edwin Brown, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM and Larry Jones, Jr. of Benton; four aunts, Shemika Marshall-Brown ( Edward) and Alicia Marshall, both of Monticello, Brandi Brown and Megan Brown, both of Greensburg, LA; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Monticello, AR Friday, June 26, 2020 I and my wife, Teresa, are greatly saddened to learn about Sma'J's passing. He was one of our boys in the "Save A Lot " outreach on Wednesday nights. Our hearts are heavy and we pray God's comfort to his parents and family.
