He was a retired welder and welding inspector for the pipeline, a Christian and longtime member of Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Gary was a workaholic! He just worked, worked and worked on a daily basis but also enjoyed meeting with his buddies at the coffee shop. He always kept his yard, vehicles and home in an immaculate manner. Gary was a devoted husband, father and papaw. Even though we know that he is at home with his Lord, we miss his earthy presence. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, R. L. Miller, Jr. and Leo Miller; and five sisters, Joan Miller Herring, Elouise Gregory, Vivian Johnston, Marcell Clary and Eddie Stout.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Louise Burton Miller of Monticello; one son, Jason Wayne Miller of Monticello; one daughter, Terri Miller Christoph of San Antonio, TX; one grandson, Stevie Christoph of San Antonio, TX; one brother, Roger Miller and wife Sandra of Monticello; one sister in law, Barbara Miller of Monticello, AR; one brother in law, Damon Herring, of Monticello, AR; along with several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow at Campground Cemetery. A come and go viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday evening following COVID-19 guidelines at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.

Pine Bluff, AR Monday, July 13, 2020 My heart is so full of emotion, I don’t know what to write. I feel such a loss and I seldom saw Gary. Thankfully, recently , I did get to visit with Mary and Gary. It was such a nice happy visit. I can not even imagine loss Mary , Terri, Jason , Stevie feel. I think of Roger, with no siblings left and Gary’s coffee drinking buddies. Gary will truly be missed. I know that he is in the welcoming arms of Jesus right now. I will always think of how he would laugh and make me laugh. Although, I still remember as a young child, he would make me cry, then He would laugh. He and Mary made such a good looking adorable couple.I can’t imagine not seeing them together. God bless you and give you peace,Mary. May you remember all the fun times and memories you and your family shared with Gary. Like I said. I don’t know what to say, except that I love you and call me for anything, and I will come.Cecelia Kollmann

Wilmar, AR Sunday, July 12, 2020 Sorry for Gary's passing, I have known Gary since I was in the 4th grade we have been good friends ever since. He was a pleasure to work with and was the best pipefitter I have ever worked with. When I was a young boy on S.
